WASHINGTON, May 21 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Special Local Regulation; Battle of the Boats; York River, Yorktown, VA.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 21 by Peggy M. Britton, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port, Sector Virginia.

Summary: The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary special local regulation (SLR) for navigable waters of the York River. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near Yorktown, VA during a high speed boat race and docking contest.
