WASHINGTON, Dec. 11 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Safety Zones: Los Angeles County Annual New Years Eve Fireworks Event.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 11 by Stacey L. Crecy, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port Los Angeles-Long Beach.
Summary: The Coast Guard will enforce a safety zone for the Los Angeles County New Years Eve Fireworks from December 31, 2025 through January 1, 2026. This safety zone is to provide for the safety of life and property on the navigable waterways during these events.
