COAST GUARD ISSUES RULE: SAFETY ZONE; WISCONSIN RIVER, WAUSAU, WI

WASHINGTON, June 3 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Safety Zone; Wisconsin River, Wausau, WI.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on June 3 by Rhianna N. Macon, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port Lake Michigan.

Summary: The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters of the Wisconsin River in Wausau, WI. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards associated with an air show. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Lake Michigan, or their designated representative.
