WASHINGTON, Dec. 11 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Safety Zone; Sandusky Bay, Sandusky, OH.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 11 by Richard P. Armstrong, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port Detroit.
Summary: The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters of Sandusky Bay within a 200-yard radius of 233 W Shoreline Drive, Sandusky, OH. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards during a fireworks event. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Detroit (COTP).
