The rule was published in the Federal Register on June 26 by Randy L. Preston, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port, Ohio Valley.
Summary: The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters on the Ohio River from MM 602.0-605.0. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards associated with an over water fireworks display.
