WASHINGTON, Jan. 12 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Safety Zone; Hillsborough Bay, Tampa, FL.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Jan. 12 by Courtney A. Sergent, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port Sector St. Petersburg.
Summary: The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters of Hillsborough Bay, in the vicinity of the Gasparilla Children's Air Show. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by the flying demonstrations over the water. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Sector St. Petersburg.
