WASHINGTON, June 25 -- Coast Guard has issued a proposed rule called: Special Local Regulation; Lake Erie, Kelleys Island, OH.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 25 by Caren C. Damon, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port Detroit.

Summary: The Coast Guard is proposing to establish a temporary special local regulation (SLR) for certain navigable waters of Lake Erie near Kelleys Island, OH. The SLR is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by a sailing race.
