Brief Summary: Long-term morbidities among very low birth weight infants remain a significant challenge. Oxidative stress is a key factor in the pathogenesis of 'free radical (FR) diseases of prematurity,' including retinopathy of prematurity, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, necrotizing enterocolitis, and intraventricular hemorrhage.
