Brief Summary: Giant axonal neuropathy (GAN) is a rare pediatric disorder caused by autosomal recessive mutations in the GAN gene. GAN is a multisystem, neurodegenerative disorder affecting the peripheral nervous system (PNS), central nervous system (CNS) and autonomic nervous system (ANS).
