U.S., Nov. 7 -- ClinicalTrials.gov registry received information related to the study (NCT07920848) titled 'Early Pathophysiology of Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Prediction of the Risk of Progression: a Prospective Cohort' on Oct. 09.
Brief Summary: Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory disease affecting approximately 1% of the population. Most pathophysiological studies have focused on advanced forms (Hurley II-III), which obscures the initial mechanisms. The mean diagnostic delay of 7 to 10 years and the lack of prognostic biomarkers limit early management. Identifying molecular and microbiological alterations as early as Hurley stage I could allow stratification of the risk of progression and support early intervention...
