Brief Summary: Colorectal cancer has the third highest incidence and second highest mortality rate of all malignant tumors worldwide. Distinct from most other cancers, colorectal cancer can be prevented; colonoscopy-based identification and removal of adenomatous polyps is the most effective preventive measure.
