Brief Summary: Thyroid eye disease is an autoimmune disorder that can cause inflammation and fibrosis of the extraocular muscles and orbital tissues. Accurate assessment of disease activity is important for treatment planning, but commonly used clinical scores and conventional imaging each have limitations.
