Today, the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee voted to favorably report multiple Trump administration nominees at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and National Mediation Board. Dr. Nicole Saphier, Dr. Timothy Westlake, and Ms. Mary Lazare were advanced en bloc by a party-line vote of 12-11. Ms. Loren Sweatt and Mr. Douglas Ralph were also advanced en bloc by a party-line vote of 12-11. All nominations will now move to the Senate floor for a final vote at a later date.
