WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has issued a rule called: Medicare Program; Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment and Ambulatory Surgical Center Payment Systems; Quality Reporting Programs; Overall Hospital Quality Star Rating; Hospital Price Transparency; and Notice of Closure of a Teaching Hospital and Opportunity To Apply for Available Slots; Correction.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 23 by Liesl I. Fowler, Executive Secretary to the Department, Department of Health and Human Services.
