WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 -- Census Bureau has issued a notice called: Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections.
The notice was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 10 by George Cook, Deputy Under Secretary for Economic Affairs, performing the non-exclusive functions and duties of the Director of the Census Bureau.
Summary: The Bureau of the Census (Census Bureau) has ceased collection and production of the Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC). The Census Bureau has redirected its resources to prioritize the Annual Survey of State Government Finances (ASFIN) and the Quarterly Summary of State & Local Tax Revenue (QTAX).
