CARTHAGE, MISSOURI MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO BEING A FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM

WASHINGTON, Oct. 13 -- The U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Attorney's office for XXXXXX (insert district) issued the following press release:

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - A Carthage, Mo., man pleaded guilty in federal court today for his illegal possession of a firearm.

Skylar Wyrick, 36, pleaded guilty before U.S. Chief Magistrate Judge Willie J. Epps, Jr., to one count of being a felon illegally in possession of a firearm. This defendant was charged as a part of Operation Spring Cleaning, that was coordinated by the United States Attorney's Office and law enforcement across Southwest Missouri.
