Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) today announced $1.75 million in funding to expand Port Wentworth, Georgia's water and sewer infrastructure as part of the House-passed Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act, 2026.
This funding will support the city's rapid growth, fueled by recent economic development projects, and provide enhanced services for current residents.
