Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) today introduced a resolution condemning the January 18, 2026, storming of Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, by protestors who interfered with congregants' ability to peacefully assemble and freely exercise their faith.
The resolution states that the insurrectionists, including former CNN host Don Lemon, violated the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act and infringed on congregants' First Amendment right to religious freedom, rendering illegal their protest against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity.
