Today, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA), the former chair and longest serving member of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, joined 11 of her Senate colleagues in a new letter to U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem demanding answers regarding the outrageous mistreatment of Tribal citizens by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in a number of recent incidents, including in Washington state.
