Today, U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), a member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, issued the following statement on the Senate Republican draft Farm Bill:
"The draft Farm Bill released today by Senate Republicans fails to meet this moment of crisis that American farmers and families are facing. Since the last Farm Bill passed in 2018, we have lost over 150,000 farms in the United States, most of them small farms.
