U.S. Senators Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Roger Marshall (R-KS), members of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, sent a letter to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Mehmet Oz urging CMS to provide clearer guidance defining allowable and non-allowable foods under the Special Supplemental Benefits for the Chronically Ill (SSBCI) in Medicare Advantage (MA).
