After a federal judge ordered the Trump Administration to resume operations at Voice of America (VOA) and reinstate its journalists, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) urged the Acting CEO of U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) to provide VOA Persian News Network and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty's (RFE/RL) Radio Farda with the staff and resources necessary to resume providing independent news and open debate in Iran.
