U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) introduced the Migrant Crime Reporting Act to increase reporting across the United States on crimes committed by illegal aliens. This legislation would provide states with grant funding to collect and analyze data from state law enforcement agencies on the number of illegal aliens in the United States who have been charged or convicted of a criminal offense in that state during the previous year.
