ST. MARY'S CITY, Md., April 27 -- St. Mary's College of Maryland issued the following news release:

The students Aurora Lewis, Stella L'Italien and Elizabeth Brown presented their SMP work at the Mid-Atlantic Ecological Society of America Conference. Lewis, Brown and L'Italien were supported by the Biology Department Travel Funds to attend the conference. Lewis presented her work on the incidence of the fungal pathogen Harringtonia lauricola in wild relatives of avocado across the US, which was funded by the Maryland Native Plant Society and Flores Biology Award.
