WASHINGTON, Nov. 3 -- The U.S. Navy issued the following news release:
CARAT is a maritime exercise designed to promote regional security cooperation, maintain and strengthen maritime partnerships, and enhance interoperability among participating forces. This year's iteration features U.S. Navy Avenger-class mine countermeasures ship USS Warrior (MCM 10) and a P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft from Commander, Task Force (CTF) 72. Staff and personnel from U.S. 7th Fleet, CTF-72, CTF-73, CTF-76, CTF-77, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWCPAC), and the U.S. Coast Guard will also participate.
