Today, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) demanded that the Trump Administration stop 134 Wisconsin households from potentially becoming homeless and approve the transfer of Wisconsin nonprofit, Newcap, grants to other capable, qualified and willing organizations. While Newcap announced it would cease operations at the end of March, other compliant and experienced nonprofit agencies have agreed to take on their grants to ensure that the 134 Wisconsin families Newcap served can continue receiving housing support.
