U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) joined Representative Gwen Moore (D-WI-04) in introducing the Mental Health and Making Access More Affordable (MAMA) Act, legislation to make mental health and addiction services for pregnant and postpartum women more affordable. The bill would ensure that private and public health care plans that cover mental health care and addiction treatment provide that care without a copay.
