OAKLAND-California Attorney General Rob Bonta, leading a coalition of 19attorneys general, submitted a comment letter (https://oag.ca.gov/system/files/attachments/press-docs/20260825-uac-sponsor-nprm-comment-letteracf-2026-0199.pdf) opposing the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) proposed rule that would add burdensome new requirements for sponsors of unaccompaniedimmigrant children.
