AUSTIN, July 28 -- The Texas Attorney General issued the following press release:
Attorney General Ken Paxton's Cold Case and Missing Persons Unit has identified the remains of Kristen Galvan, a Houston-area teen who went missing in January 2020 after becoming a victim of human trafficking. Her case remained unsolved until Attorney General Paxton launched an advanced DNA investigation.
In November 2022, Office of the Attorney General's ("OAG") Cold Case and Missing Persons Unit received a request for assistance from the Missouri City Police Department regarding unidentified human remains recovered on January 29, 2020.
