Attorney General Ken Paxton secured a $7.5 million settlement with Tris Pharmaceuticals ("Tris Pharma"), holding the company accountable for misrepresenting the efficacy of Dyanavel XR, an attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder ("ADHD") drug marketed for children.

In 2023, Attorney General Paxton sued Tris Pharma and its CEO, Ketan Mehta, after an investigation uncovered an alleged scheme to defraud the Texas Medicaid program through false and misleading claims about Dyanavel XR.
