Attorney General Ken Paxton has reached a resolution in the case involving baby Gabriel after ensuring that the newborn received medically indicated, life-sustaining care.

Attorney General Paxton previously secured an emergency court order protecting baby Gabriel, who was diagnosed with a serious heart condition that required surgery shortly after birth. The order ensured that baby Gabriel received life-sustaining medical care and prevented anyone from withholding treatment or removing him from the state while the case was pending.
