APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR FALL MENTORING PROGRAMS OFFERED TO FACULTY

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., July 17 -- The University of Arkansas issued the following news release:

Faculty can apply to attend two mentoring programs this fall that are offered by the Office for Faculty Affairs. Applications for theBridge Programand theMentoring Graduate Students Workshopare now open.

The Bridge Program is a mentoring program for new faculty to help them transition to the U of A. This program consists of two components: a six-session workshop series and recommended department-level onboarding for new faculty that includes best practices and uses an innovative, team-based approach.The fall workshops are scheduled every other week on Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1p.m. beginning Aug. 27.
