LARAMIE, Wyo., Aug. 17 -- The University of Wyoming issued the following news release:
The annual household item giveaway for international students and scholars attending
the University of Wyoming is Saturday, Aug. 29, at the UW parking lot south of the
tennis courts on 22nd Street and Willett Drive.
Items can be dropped off at the UW parking lot between 7-7:30 a.m. Students will be
allowed to take items beginning at 8 a.m.
"International students and scholars come to UW from all over the world -- approximately
76 countries. Many arrive to the university with a large suitcase or two. In need
of building a home away from home, international students and scholars need basic
