WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio, Oct. 1 -- The U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology issued the following news release:
The Air Force Recruiting Service (https://www.afaccessionscenter.af.mil/About-Us/AFAC-s/Article/714536/air-force-recruiting-service-afrs/) closed out fiscal year 2026 having met its recruiting goals, enlisting 31,950 U.S. Air Force Airmen and 730 U.S. Space Force Guardians.
The service, which oversees enlisted and officer accessions for the Air Force and Space Force, credited the results to consistent performance across its recruiting squadrons rather than any single program or push.
