WASHINGTON, Dec. 31 -- Agricultural Marketing Service has issued a rule called: Cotton Board Rules and Regulations: Adjusting Supplemental Assessment on Imports (2025 Amendments).

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 31 by Melissa Bailey, Associate Administrator, Agricultural Marketing Service.

Summary: The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is amending the Cotton Board Rules and Regulations, decreasing the value assigned to imported cotton for the purposes of calculating supplemental assessments collected for use by the Cotton Research and Promotion Program.
