WASHINGTON, March 9 -- Agricultural Marketing Service has issued a proposed rule called: Almonds Grown in California; Extension of Inedible Disposition Obligation Deadline.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on March 9 by Erin Morris, Administrator, Agricultural Marketing Service.

Summary: This proposed rule would implement a recommendation from the Almond Board of California (Board) to extend the inedible disposition obligation deadline prescribed under the Federal marketing order for almonds grown in California (Order) from September 30 to November 30 indefinitely.
