JACKSON, Miss., Sept. 8 -- The Mississippi Attorney General issued the following news release:
Today, Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced the sentencing of Katricia Smith for one count of wire fraud. This case was investigated by the Mississippi Attorney General's Office and the Mississippi Division of Medicaid Program Integrity, and prosecuted by the Mississippi Attorney General's Office.
"I am committed to rooting out waste, fraud, and corruption, and holding the
scammers, fraudsters, and grifters accountable," said Attorney General Lynn Fitch.
