Today, Congressman Robert Aderholt (AL-04) released the following statement after voting in favor of H.R. 8800 - the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2027.
"I am proud to have voted 'Yes' for the FY27 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to revitalize the defense industrial base, secure our supply chains, and improve quality of life for our service members and their families.
This year's authorization matches the President's generational investment in our national security. The proposal makes a 28% increase year-over-year, making the necessary investments to preserve peace through strength.
