WASHINGTON, Sept. 29 -- The U.S. Navy issued the following news release:
Acting Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao announced today that C. Scott "Sonny" Duncan has been appointed to the Department of the Navy as Senior Counselor to the Secretary of the Navy, effective Oct. 1. In this role, he will serve as a critical member of the Acting Secretary's team, using his extensive experience to drive meaningful progress across the Department, centered on the Acting Secretary's priorities: Take Care of Our Sailors and Marines, Advance Shipbuilding Initiatives, and Defend Our Homeland.
