24 CFR PART 594 ISSUES RULE: REMOVAL OF REGULATIONS FOR THE JOHN HEINZ NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 -- 24 CFR Part 594 has issued a rule called: Removal of Regulations for the John Heinz Neighborhood Development Program.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 13 by Ronald Kurtz, Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development.

Summary: This rule removes HUD's John Heinz Neighborhood Development Program regulations because the program has not been funded since 1998 and all grants have been closed out.
