GEORGETOWN, Texas, Sept. 8 -- Williamson County issued the following news release:
Setup for the Every Step Remembered display will begin Friday, Sept. 11, at the Williamson County Administration Building, 1848 Texas Trail in Georgetown. The completed display will open to the public Monday, Sept. 14, and remain available through Friday, Sept. 18, during the building's normal business hours.
The display uses pairs of shoes to represent lives lost to suicide and remind the community that every life represents a person, a family and a story. Some shoes were donated by families in memory of loved ones who died by suicide. Local veterans also generously donated combat boots to distinctly represent and honor veterans lost to suicide.
