U.S, Feb. 18 -- The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has warned that allowing English metro mayors to introduce daily visitor taxes could deter travellers and reduce UK economic activity by £14.4 billion in 2027, as the government's consultation on an "overnight visitor levy" power reaches its closing day.
