US, Nov. 1 -- The United States will require travelers boarding international flights to the country to complete an Ebola-related travel declaration for departures at or after 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on November 3, 2026-equivalent to 5:59 a.m. in Germany on November 4. Passengers without the required declaration face denied boarding.

Who needs to know? The requirement covers U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, foreign visitors, and passengers connecting through the United States. Children also need an individual attestation record; an authorized adult may complete it for them. Crew members and people aboard private and cargo aircraft are included. This particular declaration does not apply at land borders or seaports.
