U.S, Feb. 27 -- Amid widespread social media claims and several news reports suggesting that Turkish Airlines had cancelled all flights to Iran as of Friday night, the carrier is now pushing back - firmly denying that it has suspended operations.

A spokesperson for Turkish Airlines said the airline continues to operate scheduled flights to Iran as planned during daytime hours, and that reports of a blanket cancellation are inaccurate. Turkey is a NATO member country.
