U.S, March 24 -- Two of the city's most in-demand economy hotels are set to reopen following extensive renovations, marking another milestone in Leipzig's rapid rise as one of Germany's most dynamic tourism destinations.
The ibis Leipzig City will officially reopen on April 30, 2026, followed by the ibis budget Leipzig City in the second half of the year. Both properties are part of the globally recognized ibis brand family under Accor and are operated by Essendi, a leading hotel owner and operator in Europe.
Stefan Henseling, General Manager of both hotels, emphasized the significance of the reopening:
