U.S, Dec. 22 -- Greece is heading toward one of the strongest tourism years in its modern history, with international arrivals and revenues rising steadily through 2025 - even as competition intensifies across Europe and the eastern Mediterranean.

According to figures compiled from the Bank of Greece and national tourism authorities, Greece welcomed more than 31 million international visitors between January and September 2025, a 4% increase year-on-year. Tourism revenues reached approximately 20.1 billion, up 9%, indicating that spending growth continues to outpace visitor growth.
