Bengaluru, Nov 27 (UNI) Influential religious leaders and senior ministers in Karnataka have stepped in amid the ongoing power struggle between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, adding new layers to an already volatile political situation in the Congress-ruled state.प्रदेश में 2023 में कांग्रेस सरकार बनने के बाद से ही चल रहा यह विवाद इस हफ्ते दोनों नेताओं के साथ जुड़े समुदाय के साधु-संत के नए बयानों के बाद फिर से सामने आ गया। नेतृत्व का मंथन जो पहले काफी हद तक पार्टी के गलियारों तक ही सीमित था, अब जाति के पहलुओं के और साफ होने के साथ सार्वजनिक हो गया है। The contest, simmering since the government's formation in 2023, resurfaced this week after fresh statements from community seers aligned with both leaders. A prominent Kuruba seer, seen as a supporter of Siddaramaiah, declared that "MLAs are the ones who must decide who is the Chief Minister," reinforcing the chief minister's long-standing argument that legislative support should determine leadership. Their coordinated statements have added pressure on the Congress high command, which had assured Shivakumar of a rotational arrangement during the formation of the government. प्रदेश के गृह मंत्री जी. परमेश्वर ने इस मामले में कहा कि नेतृत्व के मुद्दों को पारदर्शिता तरीके से और सरकार की स्थिरता के हित में सुलझाया जाना चाहिए। श्री परमेश्वर की बातों से यह अंदाज़ा लगाया जा रहा है कि क्या वह खुद को एक विकल्प के तौर पर पेश कर रहे हैं या सिर्फ़ पार्टी में आतंरिक अनुशासन की मांग कर रहे हैं। Complicating matters further, Home Minister G. Parameshwara entered the debate, stating that leadership issues must be addressed transparently and in the interest of the government's stability.
