Itanagar, July 15 -- Arunachal Pradesh's Zonal General Hospital (ZGH) at Bomdila in West Kameng district has achieved a major milestone in healthcare delivery by successfully performing its first-ever ENT surgeries-Tympanoplasty and Pediatric Tonsillectomy-marking a significant milestone in the hospital's growing surgical capabilities.
The surgeries were carried out by a dedicated operation theatre team led by Senior Anaesthesiologist Dr Ani Siram and ENT Surgeon Dr Hano Ramesh, with assistance from Nursing Officers Rushmi, Kanchan and other OT staff. The team ensured safe and effective surgical and anaesthesia care despite the challenges associated with high-altitude conditions and limited resources.
