New Delhi, July 18 -- Calling Operation Sindoor a defining demonstration of India's modern military capability, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said the operation reflected the country's transformed defence preparedness, built over the past 12 years under the government's "Nation First" and "Forces First" approach.

Addressing an event here, Singh said the operation not only showcased the Indian Armed Forces' operational prowess but also highlighted the growing strength of indigenous defence manufacturing and technological self-reliance.
