Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 16 -- A march taken out by the BJP youth wing Yuva Morcha to the Kerala Legislative Assembly demanding the resignation of Opposition Leader Pinarayi Vijayan turned tense on Friday, with police resorting to water cannons and tear gas to disperse the protesters.

The agitation was organised as part of the BJP-led campaign against Vijayan in connection with the allegations surrounding the CMRL-Exalogic case. The protesters raised slogans against the Opposition Leader and demanded his resignation.
